Surveys showed that barnyard grass, arrowhead, starfruit and dirty Dora are the most  widespread weeds of rice crops.  Arrowhead is a particular problem in the MIA and CIA and water plantain is an emerging problem in the Murray Valley.  The survey data confirm anecdotal and visual-evidence.
