Rice husks are hope for New Industry (December 1964)

The Australian rice industry has an increasing problem in the disposal of rice hulls. Following next year's harvest 30,000 tons could be available from a harvest of 150,000 tons as the approximate mill-off during processing of the raw rice is about 20 per cent of production.
